William L. Lupkin Designs can also create custom murals and paintings for your church or home. While these can be done on site, the preferred method of Lupkin Designs is to create these pieces in the the studio on movable supports and then install them into their final location. This allows for not only a piece that can be moved if necessary (1 piece done was to replace a mural that was destroyed by a leaking roof) but also so that there is greater flexibility in how the piece can be approached.
All murals done by William Lupkin Designs are created using only superior time tested materials. Traditionally prepared Belgium linen and time tested oil painting techniques are applied so that the piece you're investing in can be enjoyed for generations to come.
William L. Lupkin Designs also specializes in creating custom Stations of the Cross for your place of worship. All Stations are original works of art, designed and hand painted in the studio and created according to the congregations specifications. Each Station is painted in traditional oil paints on either panel or canvas and can be made to any size or shape required.
William Lupkin Designs can also create a custom statue for your church, business or home. Whether it be a ceramic piece, like the four seasons memorial piece, or contemporary sculpture, like the baptismal font created from bent and welded steel with a custom cast glass basin.
Additionally William Lupkin Designs can create traditional figurative statues. The example below was commissioned for a new altar. The statue is first carved in oil based clay, then molds are made from the oil based clay model and a new statue is cast in plaster, epoxy, bronze etc. This example was cast in a high density plaster. The statue can then be painted or finished as the client wishes, for this statue it was requested to have a realistic paint finish before being installed in the altar.
